RADIO
The Monarchs radio broadcasts are on ESPN 94.1 in Hampton Roads; WZEZ 100.5 in Richmond and WBRG 104.5 FM & 1050 AM in Lynchburg, Va. Play-by-Play announcer is Ted Alexander. Billy Mann will serve as color analyst for all home games. Dave Twardzik will be a contributor to Monarch Courtside pre-game show at home games and color commentary for all road games. Rick Kiefner will host the Monarch Courtside program at home games.

SERIES VS. RICE: ODU leads 1-0. The two teams have met only once during the 1970-71 ODU-Kiwanis Classic with the Monarchs winning, 114-86 at the Norfolk Scope Arena. Monarch Hall of Famer and current ODU analyst Dave Twardzik played in that contest, scoring 32 points

LAST GAME :The Monarchs lost at Tulsa, 76-37. Freshman Ambrose Mosley led ODU in scoring for the second straight game off the bench, scoring 12 points and Richard Ross added 11. ODU shot .277  from the field while TU shot .574.  The 37 points was the lowest in ODU’s Division I history. 

THIS DAY IN ODU HISTORY:Feb. 20, 1976: Wilson Washington blocked 12 shots against William & Mary in W&M Hall and on Feb. 20, 1975 the future NBA Monarch hauled down 20 rebounds against Baptist College.
