TV/RADIO The Monarchs radio broadcasts are on ESPN 94.1 in Hampton Roads; WZEZ 100.5 in Richmond and WBRG 104.5 FM & 1050 AM in Lynchburg, Va. Play-by-Play announcer is Ted Alexander. Dave Twardzik will be a contributor to Monarch Courtside pre-game show at home games and color commentary for all road games. Tonight’s game will be Televised on Cox channel 114 in Hampton Roads and 110 in West Point, New Kent and King & Queen counties.

SERIES VS. MIDDLE TENNESSEE STATE
The first ever meeting between the two schools. MTSU is fifth in C-USA in scoring and scoring defense.  They are third in rebound margin and second in the league in blocked shots. Shawn Jones ranks sixth in the league in rebounding, while Tweety Knight is fourth in assists. 

LAST GAME The Monarchs lost at UAB Thursday night, 75-66. Dimitri Batten led ODU with 18 points while freshman Ambrose Mosley added a career high 16 points off the bench. ODU forced UAB into 19 turnovers. The Monarchs shot .348 from the floor to UAB’s .491 and were outrebounded, 46-41 as each Monarch who played hauled down atleast two rebounds. Batten and Richard Ross led ODU with seven each.

 THIS DAY IN ODU HISTORY Feb. 1, 1992. ODU defeated William and Mary, 102-92 in overtime, as the Monarchs outscored the Tribe, 25-15. Ricardo Leonard led the Monarchs with 33, followed by 22 from Al Grant and 21 from John Robinson. The total 40 points by both teams in an overtime period set an NCAA record and the 25 points by ODU tied an NCAA mark.
