RADIO The Monarchs radio broadcasts are on ESPN 94.1 in Hampton Roads; WZEZ 100.5 in Richmond and WBRG 104.5 FM & 1050 AM in Lynchburg, Va. Play-by-Play announcer is Ted Alexander. Billy Mann will serve as color analyst for all home games. Dave Twardzik will be a contributor to Monarch Courtside pre-game show at home games and color commentary for all road games. Rick Kiefner will host the Monarch Courtside program at home

SERIES VS. COLLEGE OF CHARLESTON
C of C leads the series, 1-0.  The Cougars defeated the Monarchs last year, 76-65 in Charleston. Keenan Palmore and Deion Clark both scored 10 points, followed by Aaron Bacote with nine points. College of Charleston is in their first year as a member of the CAA.

LAST GAME
The Monarchs lost at Georgia State Saturday, 79-73 as Aaron Bacote scored 21, followed by 15 from Dimitri Batten and 14 by Keenan Palmore.   ODU shot .510 from the floor and .722 from the free throw line,and outrebounded GSU, 31-23, but committed 20 turnovers.

THIS DAY IN ODU HISTORY
Dec. 18, 1971 – Jay Rountree hauled down 22 rebounds against Georgia Southern and in 2003 Alex Loughton went 10-10 from the free throw line against Liberty.

The Monarchs travel to former CAA rival UNC Wilmington on Saturday for a 2 p.m. contest.

MEET THE MONARCH BREAKFASTS
The dates for the annual Old Dominion Athletic Foundation Breakfast featuring the men's basketball staff and squad have been set, beginning: Jan. 10, Jan. 22 and Wednesday Feb. 5.

All three breakfasts will be held in the Big Blue Room of the Ted Constant Convocation, from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM. A donation of $5 is at the door.
