NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University sailing finished second at the War Memorial event on the banks of the Elizabeth River this weekend in Norfolk, as the group of Esteban Forrer, Julie Wiesner and Gabriel Smith won Division B.
The Division A squad of Brady Stagg, Jill Fattibene and Chloe Constants got the Monarchs off to a good start, taking fourth place in the group. The trio had five top-5 finishes out of the 11 races.
The Division B crew of Ferrer, Wiesner and Smith had two wins and two second places, and finished no worse than seventh in the 11 races to win the division.
