Sunday's game will be aired live with the Voice of the Lady Monarchs, Doug Ripley on play-by-play and former Lady Monarch assistant coach, Susan Montgomery handling the color duties. Doug and Susan's radio broadcast will begin live at 11:45 p.m. from the MassMutual. Center in Springfield, Mass. 

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – After a seven day break from games, the Old Dominion University women’s basketball team (2-4) will play their fourth and final game of the first ever James Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Women’s Challenge on Sunday against Boston University (2-5) at 12:15 p.m. (EST) at the MassMutual Center.

ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST BOSTON
Old Dominion leads the all-time series with Boston University, 6-0, with the two teams last meeting occuring on New Year's Day back in 1989, as the Lady Monarchs defeated the Terriers, 77-66. 

BOSTON UNIVERSITY – Sunday, December 1 – 12:15 p.m.
Following their second straight postseason appearance, the Boston University women’s basketball team (2-5) was selected to finish third in its inaugural season in the Patriot League.

Danielle Callahan currently leads the Terriers in scoring, as she is averaging 10.4 a game and also racking up 5.0 assists per contest. Rashidat Agboola is posting an average of 9.3 ppg and hauling down 7.1 rpg.

Led by 10th-year head coach Kelly Greenberg, the Terriers are coming off a 24-6 season and their fourth trip to the postseason in the last five years. BU earned its second straight bid to the Women’s National Invitation Tournament (WNIT) and recorded its second postseason victory in program history with a 61-49 victory over Sacred Heart in the first round.

Senior Rashidat Agboola earned a spot on the Patriot League preseason All-League Team after earning America East All-Conference First Team and All-Defensive Team honors last season. Agboola is BU’s top returning scorer after averaging 11.7 points per game last year while also leading the team with 9.0 rebounds per game.

Agboola is joined by classmate Whitney Turner as the two returning starters from last year’s squad. Turner averaged 5.3 ppg and 6.3 rpg a year ago while tying Agboola for the team lead with 1.5 blocks per game. Also returning for the Terriers is senior Danielle Callahan, who starred as BU’s sixth man last year with 7.7 ppg off the bench.

ODU’S LAST TIME OUT
Marist’s Brittini Lai drilled a jumper with one second left in regulation to push the Red Foxes and Lady Monarchs to overtime, where the Old Dominion University women’s basketball team would eventually fall, 87-82. In a game that saw seven ties and seven lead changes, both teams lit it up from the floor last Sunday afternoon, as Marist shot a sizzling 62% (44% 3PT) and ODU a blistering 51% (48% 3PT). This was the third of three games in as many days for both squads.

ODU’s Shae Kelley scored 21 points and grabbed 11 boards; senior Becca Allison followed in scoring with 15 (5-7 FG, 3-5 3PT). Off the bench, Allison also snatched three rebounds, dished out three assists and accumulated three steals. Tiffany Minor scored in double figures for the second straight game, netting 14 on Sunday. Stephanie Gardner scored nine points and distributed a career-high 7 assists.

Kelley currently avreages 15 ppg and 10.5 rpg, while Gardner is averaging 14.8 points a contest.
