Harrisonburg, Va. – The Old Dominion lacrosse team travels 220 miles to James Madison University Saturday, Oct. 26 to compete in the James Madison Fall Tournament.
The Lady Monarchs will play at JMU’S University Park on the grass field against George Mason at 10 a.m., George Washington at 12:20 p.m. and finish the day against Davidson at 2:40 p.m.
“I’m excited to be playing new and old competition,“ said co-captain Emily Austerberry. "Playing a couple games gives us a chance to try everything we have been working on.”
The six schools that will be participating in the tournament include: James Madison, Longwood, Davidson, George Mason, George Washington and Old Dominion.
The JMU tournament completes the fall schedule for the Lady Monarchs as they get prepared to start the season Feb. 21 against the University of Louisville.
