NORFOLK, Va. - ODU lacrosse junior goalkeeper Karen Hayde will speak at the Endowed Scholarship Luncheon on Friday.
Hayde, who was named a co-captain, will be one of the speakers to open the Luncheon. ODU Lacrosse recently competed in the William & Mary Scrimmage last Saturday and are currently in their fall season schedule.
"It was nice to finally play against other teams after a couple long weeks of practice," said ODU head coach Heather Holt. "Our team needs to take all aspects of practice and apply them to our game. We encouraged the team to try new things today, take risks. Sometimes those risks paid off, but other times it turned into a scramble. Hopefully we can learn from these mistakes and become a better team week by week. The beauty of lacrosse is that nothing counts until the season starts in the spring!"
ODU concludes their fall schedule this Saturday in the James Madison Fall Tournament.
