POWELLS POINT, NC—Old Dominion University junior Jamison Randall (Cumberland, RI.) fired a 67 today for a 138 two-round score, which ties him for second, just two strokes back of the leader at the ODU/Outerbanks Collegiate at the Kilmarlic Golf Course.
The University of Hartford leads the 18-team event by two strokes with a one under 567. Elon is second at 569, followed by Marshall at 570, VCU at 572, Radford at 573 and ODU in sixth at 576 only nine strokes back. Hartford shot a blistering 277 today.
Marshall’s Logan Lagodich shot 69-67 for a six-under par 136 to lead the field by two strokes over ODU’s Jamison Randall (71-67=138), and VCU’s Rocky Khara (70-68=138).
ODU’s freshman Thomas Henderson (Sterling, MA.) posted two eagles today on the ninth and 18th holes. He shot 71 today and is 46th with a 149.
Marshall’s Lagodich leads the field in Par 3 scoring at 2.70 (-3), while ODU’s Randall led in Par 4 scoring at 3.83 (-3). Jeff Krieger of Elon and Lagodich of Marshall lead the field with 10 birdies each, while Michael Heda of George Washington leads with 29 pars. ODU’s Randall is tied for sixth with 26 and Tim Ritter is tied for 11th with 25.
The third and final round of the tournament will be played Tuesday beginning at 8 am.
