Sailing Takes 10th at Intersectionals Over the Weekend

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Old Dominion University Sailing took a pair of 10th place finishes this weekend at the Navy Intersectional and the women’s Intersectional at Yale.

The Monarchs finished in 10th at the Navy Intersectional while the Division B squad of Esteban Forrer and Julia Wiesner led the way with a third place finish.  The duo had 11 top-five finishes out of the 20 races and earned two race victories.  The Division A team of Brady Stagg, Jill Fattibene and Travis Carlisle took 17th place and won one race.  In single-handed action, Daniel Lochner finished 11th in Division C while Nathan Fields was ninth in Division D.

The women’s squad also finished in 10th at Yale.  The Division A team of Andrea Lune, Chloe Constants and Alexa Cavalieri was 10th while Corina Ratke, Colin Voigt and Rachel Austin earned a seventh place finish in Division B.
