ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Old Dominion University sailing team had another solid weekend on the water, as Andrea Luna and Chloe Constants put together the best finish of the weekend, a fourth place at the Navy Fall Women’s event in Annapolis.
Luna and Constants helped ODU to an eighth place finish at the event, earning two first place finishes in Division A. Corina Radtke and Grace Mason earned a ninth place finish in Division B while Rachel Austin was 11th in Division C. Austin won the final race in the division.
In the Carl Van Duyne MAISA Men’s Single-handed Championships also held in Annapolis, Nathan Fields finished eighth and Joe David 10th. Fields came in second three times in the 18-race event while David came in second once.
The Monarch Sailors will compete in Intersectional events next Saturday, Oct. 19. The women will compete at Yale while the men at Navy.
