WINNIPEG - Former Old Dominion University quarterback Thomas DeMarco started his second-straight game for the BC Lions and helped the Lions defeat Winnipeg, 53-17 Friday night in Winnipeg.
The Lions scored three defensive touchdowns to help lead the way, but DeMarco was on point as well, completing 15-of-21 passes for 170 yards and a toucdown. He also rushed for six yards and a score.
BC is now 9-4 on the year and have clinched a playoff spot in the CFL. They return home next Friday as they take on Saskatchewan at 10 p.m.
