STATE COLLEGE, PA—The ODU Lady Monarchs are sixth after one round at the Nittany Lion Women’s Golf Invitational. Freshman Rachel Walker (Dumfries, Scotland) is just four strokes back, tied for 11th and senior Kimberley Bradbury (Derbyshire, England) is six back.
ODU shot 304 today and are just two strokes behind fourth place Georgetown and Longwood. Yale leads the event with a 289, followed by Penn State at 293 and Kent State at 294.
Individually, Christina Vosters of Penn State leads the tournament with a 69, followed by Jennifer Ha of Kent State with a 70 for second place. Walker posted five birdies and seven pars on the day for her 73, while Bradbury shot 75 with 12 pars and a birdie.
