NORFOLK, VA -- Old Dominion University sophomore midfielder Sarah Breen (Taylors Hill, Australia) has been selected to the BIG EAST weekly honor roll for her three goal performance this past weekend. The Lady Monarchs got out to an early lead to win the Sunday game against Michigan State, 3-1.
Erin Schneidtmiller of Louisville was named BIG EAST Player of the Week, while defenseman Roisin Upton of Connecticut was named Defensive Player of the Week. Joining Breen on the honor roll were Anna Jeute of Uconn, Sydney King of Louisville, Salene Shaffer of Providence and Alyssa Delp of Temple.

ODU hosts Providence on Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex, then hosts Quinnipiac in non-conference action on Sunday at 1 p.m.
The game against Providence is the Big East home opener for the Lady Monarchs and is the Monarch Media Game of the Week, which will be broadcasted by Ted Alexander and Katelyn Smither (Kelsey's older sister)--ODU '11. The first 100 fans to arrive will receive a free Big East T-shirt!
