PAWLEY’S ISLAND, SC—ODU senior Kimberley Bradbury (Derbyshire, England) fired a 72 today to finish 54 holes with a 220 score and tied for ninth at the Golfweek Program Challenge at the Caledonia Golf and Fish Club. As a team, the Lady Monarchs finished fifth with an 890 score.
Bradbury birdied four holes today, two on the front and two on the back to finish six strokes behind the individual medalist, Tahnia Ravnjak of Campbell who finished at 211. Bradbury tied Melania Geijo of Jacksonville State, Kaylee benson of Northern Iowa, Jenna Hoecker and Alessandra Kutz of Stetson for ninth with 220 scores.
Campbell won the event with an 862, followed by Jacksonville State at 279, JMU at 883, Stetson at 887 and ODU finished at 890 in the 12 team event.
ODU senior Elizabeth Haycock (Birmingham, England) also shot 72 today and finished 16th at 222, while freshman Rachel Walker (Dumfries, Scotland)finished 17th at 223, Gemma Fuster (Barcelona, Spain) tied for 21st at 225. The Lady Monarchs return to action Sept. 27-29 at the Nittany Lion Invitational.
