NORFOLK, Va. - The Old Dominion University football team had their fourth practice of preseason camp, and their second in shoulder pads on Thursday morning.
The Monarchs will practice in full pads for the first time on Friday.
The squad continued to put an emphasis on special teams, working specifically on punt and punt block, and the extra point/field goal team.
Practice had a number of team portions, with the offense mostly starting the drive on the positive side of the 50 yardline. Both sides of the ball came up big, as Colby Goodwyn reeled off what would have been a 20-yard TD run, while Caleb Taylor made a nice defensive play batting away a pass in the end zone.
