NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University is one practice away from completing their first week of preseason practice after finishing the morning session on Saturday in full pads.
The Monarchs have another practice later this afternoon, that will focus mainly on special teams.
ODU was in full pads for the second-straight practice, but the team came out and delivered a solid practice. The running backs showcased their speed and agility, as Cam Boyd, C.J. Bradshaw and Colby Goodwyn all were effective in the first team drill of the practice. True freshman Malik Moseley had a good second team session, carrying the ball for a 24-yard gain and then catching a short pass for a touchdown from Taylor Heinicke.
The Monarchs do not practice on Sunday and will be back in action on Monday for two practices.
