Goodwyn Named to CFPA All-Purpose Watch List

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Old Dominion University senior Colby Goodwyn was named to the College Football Performance Awards Watch List for All-Purpose Performer, CFPA announced on Monday.

 A senior from Hampton, Va., Goodwyn rushed for 333 yards and seven touchdowns last season and all caught 19 passes for 144 yards.  Goodwyn also excelled on kick returns, leading ODU with 23 returns for 486 yards.

 Goodwyn is the Monarchs’ leader in career kick returns and yards, and is third on the school’s all-time list for rushing yards, trailing Thomas DeMarco by 356 yards.

 Goodwyn and the Monarchs open the 2013 season at East Carolina on Saturday, Aug. 31.
