"The game shaped up to the kind of ballgame we thought it would be.Looking at the two teams and comparing what we thought would happen, bothteams played well, but they played a little better.
"Both pitchers pitched very well, and you have to give Illinois pitcherJason Anderson credit. Every time he got in a jam, he got out of it, andthere were not many of those.
"We were committed to (starting pitcher) Shawn (Weaver) for the whole game.We wanted to win or lose it with him. He pitched a good game, but they(Illinois) just played better.
