The Road To The 2008 Women's Final Four® Begins In Norfolk First Round: Sunday, March 23 Pairings will be announced on Monday, March 17, at 7 p.m. (EST) Norfolk and the Ted Constant Convocation Center are one of eight sites for the first and second rounds of the NCAA® Division I Women's Basketball Championships in 2008 along with and Maravich Assembly Center (LSU), Bridgeport Arena at Harbor Yard (Fairfield), Comcast Center (Maryland), Wells Fargo Arena (Iowa State), The Pit/Bob King Court (New Mexico), Maples Pavilion (Stanford), and Mackey Arena (Purdue). The Ted Constant Convocation Center has played host to the NCAA® Tournament three times since its opening in 2002 with the first and second rounds in 2003 and 2006, as well as the Mideast Regional in 2004. Old Dominion will also welcome the first and second rounds again for 2010.
