Buon Giorno
Today we got on a boat and went across the water to Murano to visit the world famous Murano Glass factory. The boat ride was about 45 minutes long and the sights on the way were great. We saw a glass blowing demonstration where a man made a flower vase and a horse. It was awesome because he managed to make those things in just minutes.
After the demostration we were able to go into the showroom and buy the things they made at the factory. I bought a bracelet, necklace, and earnings for my sister. There was a beautiful gold cross pendant I was eyeing, but it was very expensive and had find my way back over to my price range.
After Murano, we got back on the boat and headed to the main island of Venice where we shopped 'til we dropped. We had three hours to ourselves to shop, eat, and sightsee. I loved looking at the water and the way the sun glistened on it. The bridges are also neat. Its amazing to think of just how many bridges there are in Venice and how they are all connected to different islands.
After Venice we went to the game. Overall our team played great. The defensive effort has really picked up and has gotten better with each game. Our chemistry is also coming together nicely and everyone has got to play a lot of minutes.
