For Webb, there’s been no looking back with regret - 8/14/13 Paul Webb coached his last basketball game at Old Dominion University 28 years ago. Sometimes Recruiting isn't what You think it is - 5/22/13
Old Dominion University is hosting the USA Field Hockey Under-21 Championships this weekend, beginning Thursday. Five regional squads and the Under-21 National Team will play at the L.R. Hill Complex on the backside of the campus just off of Powhatan Ave. It'll be Griffiths' and ODU's job to be the hospitable host, for when you host an event like this the residuals pay off down the road. At 12:25 Thursday afternoon, Joe Daley will lean over and place tee and ball into the ground at the first hole of TPC Sawgrass, one of the world's most famous golf courses. One of these days, Old Dominion's football team might actually play a real spring football game. The Monarchs might actually have enough of a roster on both sides of the ball to create a situation where a score might be in order.
