FINAL RESULTSParticipating Teams (11):
SMU, UCF, 2013 C-USA Championship Scoring Format------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The morning got started with Old Dominion advancing two of their three boats (which counted toward team totals) to the Grand Finals.

Varsity Four
In Heat Two of the Preliminaries for the Varsity Four race, Old Dominion finished less than a second behind the No. 5 ranked Varsity Four boat in the South region, Texas (7:43.99). The Lady Monarchs finished the race in 7:44.86, which was good enough for a third place finish and birth into the Grand Finals. ODU finished only four seconds back of Kansas State who won Heat Two with a time of 7:40.90.

In the Grand Final, Old Dominion finished in sixth place with a time of 8:01.04. Oklahoma prevailed and won the Varsity Four Grand Final with a time of 7:39.30.

Second Varsity Eight
The Lady Monarchs' Second Varsity Eight boat placed third in Heat Two of the Preliminaries after finishing the race in 7:01.07. The third place finish solidified ODU's spot in the Grand Finals. Old Dominion's time was less than 10 seconds off Tennessee's pace, who won Heat Two with a time of 6:51.30. The Lady Monarchs finished a second before the No. 2 ranked boat in the South region, Oklahoma (7:02.10). This one-second gap between the third and fourth place finishers was the difference between ODU going to the Grand Final and Oklahoma going to the Petite Final.

In the Grand Final, the Lady Monarchs placed sixth overall as they completed the race in 7:10.45. Oklahoma would earn the gold medals in the Second Varsity Eight Grand Final as they completed the course in 6:45.81.

Varsity Eight
The ODU Varsity Eight boat placed fifth in Heat One of the Preliminaries, as they finished the race in 6:57.62. A mere 11 seconds separated the first and last place finishers within this heat. Oklahoma, the No. 6 ranked Varsity Eight boat in the South region, placed first in Heat One with a time of 6:46.10.

In the Petite Final, Old Dominion (6:52.14) placed third and finished ahead of Alabama and SMU. Only four seconds separated the Lady Monarchs from the first place finisher. ODU and Tulsa were neck and neck down the stretch, but it was Tulsa (6:50.61) who finished in second place. UCF ended up winning the Varsity Eight Petite Final with a time of 6:48.74.

Open Four
Old Dominion's Open Four boat finished in fifth place in Heat Two of the Preliminaries with a time of 8:00.24. Oklahoma won the heat with a time of 7:33.70.

In the Petite Final of the Open Four race, only Kansas State's A-boat finished ahead of Old Dominion. ODU finished the race in second with a time of 8:00.05, while Kansas State A turned in a time of 7:53.78. ODU placed ahead of both West Virginia boats.
