Beginning in the fall of 2012, ODUSports.com and Monarch Media will present a weekly Monarch Spotlight that gives fans a chance to learn more about their favorite student-athletes at Old Dominion.
This week features lacrosse senior defender Carolyn Burns. Playing in 55 career games and starting in 39 of them, Burns registered her first career assist against Hofstra back on April 5. She scooped up 62 groundballs in her career while tallying 18 draw controls and causing 27 turnovers.
