HANOVER, N.H. - Dartmouth earned the doubles point and Brandon DeBot clinched the match at No. 6 singles as No. 58 Dartmouth edged Old Dominion 4-3 Friday evening at the Boss Tennis Center in Hanover.

DeBot clinched the team win for Dartmouth with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Zvonimir Podvinski at No. 6 singles.

Dartmouth earned the doubles point and Christopher Kipouras gave them a 2-0 lead with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Jonas Kuwert at No. 3 singles.

Wesley Barrett got the Monarchs on the board with a 6-4, 6-2 triumph over Justin Chan at No. 5, but Dante Terenzio couldn't continue his momentum after a 6-0 win in the first set over Erik Nordahl at No. 4, falling 0-6, 6-4, 6-1.

Albert Ochagavia picked up ODU's third victory of the night with a 6-3, 3-6 (10-6) three-setter at No. 3 singles.

Carlos Lopez Villa tightened the gap with a 7-5, 6-3 victory at No. 1 to stay unbeaten on the year at 5-0.

The battle for the doubles point was tight, as Dartmouth earned the point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2.

Brandon DeBot and Xander Centenari started off strong, surging to an 7-2 lead and hung on for an 8-5 win at No. 2.

Wesley Barrett and Tim Schweig fought back from being down a set early to defeat Alex de Chateilus and Erik Nordahl 8-7 at No. 3.

Can Cetinel and Carlos Lopez Villa had a 7-6 lead at No. 1, but couldn't close out Cameron Ghorban and Brenden Tannenbaum, falling 8-7 as the Big Green eked out the doubles point.

ODU returns to action Sunday when they head to Boston to take on No. 28 Harvard at 2:30 p.m.
