NORFOLK, VA--Old Dominion University and Max Media of Hampton Roads have announced that 20 Monarch baseball games will be aired this spring on Star 1310 (WGH) AM, beginning March 8 at home against Northeastern in a CAA contest.
Ted Alexander, ODU's Director of Broadcasting and the voice of ODU football and men's basketball, will serve as the primary play-by-play voice, assisted by Doug Ripley, who has served as host announcer for Karen Barefoot's coaches show and provided play-by-play for many of the Lady Monarch basketball games the past two years.

There are a lot of baseball fans that enjoy listening to the games on the radio and Ted Alexander does a great job with the broadcast.
