GLOUCESTER, Va. - Old Dominion University women's basketball head coach Karen Barefoot will be the honorary coach for the Habitat Hammerheads in their charity basketball game against the internationally-acclaimed Harlem Ambassadors on March 22 at Gloucester high school. The game will start at 7 p.m.
The event is a major fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity Gloucester Matthews County. Money will also be raised to help a family who was hurt by the tornado and to build another house for a deserving family.
The Harlem Ambassadors offer a unique brand of Harlem-style basketball, featuring high-flying slam dunks, dazzling ball-handling tricks and hilarious comedy routines.
Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $7 for students and senior citizens. Children under five are free.Click here for more information
