NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University women's basketball hosts Towson on Wednesday, February 29 at 7 p.m. in the final regular season game of the season. ODU will honor senior Tia Lewis before the game.
This will be the first meeting of the season between ODU and the Tigers.
Lewis leads the Lady Monarchs with 16.6 points per game and in rebounds with 9.1 per game.
Junior Jackie Cook is second with 9.1 per game while freshman Ashley Betz-White is third on the team in points and leads all CAA rookies in points, assists and minutes per game. Betz-White is just two assists from becoming the sixth rookie in school history to reach 100 assists in her first season of play.
Junior JoNiquia Guilford leads the team with 46 steals and is second on the squad with 66 assists.
Towson is 16-12 overall and 7-10 in CAA play.
Krystal Parnell leads the Tigers with 11.9 points per game while Tanisha McTiller is second on the team with 11.4 points per game.
Towson has lost three-straight but before that had won four in a row.
Up next for the Lady Monarchs is the CAA Tournament. The Lady Monarchs can be seeded between the 8 through 10 spots with an opponent still to be determined.
