SAN FRANCISCO, CA- The two-time CAA Defensive Player of the Year, Kent Bazemore has appeared in two games thus far for the Golden State Warriors. He played six minutes in a 101-77 loss to the Lakers on Nov. 9th, grabbing two rebounds, blocking two shots along with one assist. Bazemore had two steals Sunday, Nov. 18 in a 119-109 loss At Oklahoma City.
At ODU, Bazemore was a first team All-CAA selection. He scored a career high 37 points vs. Drexel and 28 points at Missouri State last year. He completed his career as ODU's 20th all-time scorer with 1416 career points, ODU's second all-time steals leader with 250, and his 140 career games played is a new ODU record.Kent was named to HOF Tip-Off All-Tournament squad last year. He had seven steals vs. South Florida and hit 12 of 14 free throws vs. South Florida. He became the 48th Monarch to reach 1,000 career points (vs. Richmond).
Kent graduated last May with two degrees (Human Services and Criminal Justice).
