NORFOLK, VA-- The ODU Soccer Monarchs travel to Atlanta, GA. for a matchup againstthe Panthers of Georgia State Wednesday night. This is a matchup between twosquads who both competed in last year's NCAA College Cup.

ODU comes into the match with a 9-2-2 overall record and a 3-2-2 CAA mark. TheMonarchs rank 15th nationally by the NSCAA/Coaches and Soccer Times, while 16 inthe College Soccer News poll.

ODU continues to lead the CAA in goals scored with 31, 26 assists and total points with 88.

Tim Hopkinson ranks second in the CAA with 10 goals, follwed by Chris Harmonwho is tied for fourth with eight. Yannick Smith and Harmon are tied for third in the CAA with five assists each.

Senior goal keeper Victor Francoz is tied for third in the CAA with four solo shutouts and save percentage at .777. His 49 saves rank him fifth in the league.

Georgia State is 4-10 overall and 1-6 in the CAA. Alex Vivanco leads the teamwith six goals, while W. Meilors-Blair leads with five assists along with threegoals.

ODU travels to Hofstra on Saturday, then return home for their final regularseason home match on Oct. 31 against Northeastern.
