NORFOLK, VA-- The eighth ranked ODU Soccer Monarchs (8-2-2/2-2-2) will look to rebound from Wednesday night's lost when they host the Tigers of Towson (4-8-1/2-4-1) Saturday night at 7 p.m. at the ODU Soccer Complex.
Junior Tim Hopkinson continues to lead the Monarchs in scoring with nine goals, fourassists and 22 points, followed by senior co-captain Chris Harmon with seven goals,five assists and 19 points. Harmon has scored ODU's last three goals. Jordan LeBlanc has five goals with three assists for 13 points.
In the net, senior Victor Francoz has 45 saves and five shutouts for a 1.05 goals against average.
ODU leads the series with Towso, 9-6-3. Last year, the Monarchs won, 4-1 in Marylandand 4-1 in 2010 here at ODU. The Tigers last won in 2009, 2-1.
Towson is led in scoring by Olakunle Banjo with three goals, three assists for ninepoints, followed by Enrico Skrypzak with three goals.
