NORFOLK, VA-- The ODU Soccer Monarchs (8-1-2/2-1-2) moved up to eighth nationally in the NSCAA/Coaches poll and host the Tribe of William and Mary Wednesday night at 7 p.m.at the ODU Soccer Complex.

Along with the number eight ranking in the coaches poll, ODU is 12th by Soccer America, and College Soccer News, and 14th by Soccer Times.

Tim Hopkinson continues to lead ODU in scoring with nine goals, four assists and 22 points, while senior Chris Harmon is second with six goals, a team best five assistsfor 17 total points. He was named to College Sports Madness Soccer Team of the Week.

Senior goalkeeper Victor Francoz has 45 saves and five shutouts for a 0.97 goals against average.

ODU and William and Mary are all even in the series at 20-20-8. The Monarchs havewon the last two matches, 3-0 last year in Williamsburg and 1-0 in 2010 at ODU. TheTribe last won in 2009, 2-1 at ODU.

The Tribe (2-9-3/0-4-2) are led in scoring by Ben Anderson with two goals, fourassists for eight total points. Goalkeeper Bennett Jones has two shutours, 57 saves and a 1.46 goals against average.
