NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University will host the first and second rounds of the 2012 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship at the Ted Constant Convocation Center on March 17 and 19, with four of the top teams in the nation coming to Norfolk.
ODU will serve as one of 16 sites for the first two rounds of the tournament, with games set for 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, and one game at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 19.
All session tournament books are available now at www.coxtix.com for only $30 for adults and $25 for youth 17 and under, while single day tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for youth. In addition, groups of 10 or more can purchase tickets for only $10 per person by calling 757-683-5000.
Fans can also support the tournament by purchasing Youth Sponsorship packages starting as low as $100, which will provide tickets for 10 children to attend one of the tournament sessions.
Should Old Dominion advance to the NCAA tournament, they will be competing at the Norfolk site. The 16 winners from the second round sites will advance to the NCAA "Sweet 16" the following weekend in the regional semifinals and finals, with the "Final Four" held in Denver, April 1 and 3.
