NORFOLK, VA-- The ODU Soccer Monarchs (1-0) ranked 11th by Soccer America hits the road this weekend to Orlando, FL. to take on 25th ranked Central Florida (1-0) Saturday night at 7 p.m. which is a match-up between two teams who advanced to last years NCAA College Cup second round.
The two teams have met only once before in the 2008 Stihl Soccer Classic with UCFwinning, 1-0. UCF opened the season with a 2-1 victory over Florida Atlantic thanksto two goals from Deshorn Brown.
ODU opened the season with a 4-0 victory over Navy last Saturday as Chris Harmon andJordan LeBlanc each scored two goals along with one assist. Both were named to TopdrawerSoccer.com's National Team of the Week.
ODU returns home next weekend Sept. 7 and 9 for the 37th annual Stihl Soccer Classic with VCU, Winthrop and Seton Hall.
