SCOTTSDALE, AZ-- The ODU Monarchs shot 275 in the first round and are tied withNorthern Colorado and Texas Tech at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic, just seven strokesbehind tournament leader, Kansas State.
Invidually, Thomas Wilde is tied for fifth after shooting 66 in the first round. Hetrails Beau Schoolcraft of Colorado and Mike Wuertz of Colorado State by two strokes. They both shot 64.
Garth McGee shot 70 and is tied for 43rd, followed by Jamison Randall who is tied for 43rd with a 70 and Neil Henderson 71 and is tied for 58th.
