"On April 22, 2012 our regular season came to an end with a loss to Drexel. As the final horn rang, I found myself standing in Philadelphia Pa. on a rain soaked field; freezing to death wondering where the past four years went and what in the heck was I going to do next. My formal lacrosse playing days were over, in a few short weeks I would be graduating from college and the girls I seemingly spent all my waking hours with over the past four years were going off to make their way in the world. With tears in my eyes and a combination of fear and sadness in my heart, I walked off the field one final time with my teammates to be met with hugs from our rain soaked parents.
