RICHMOND, Va. - Old Dominion's Garth McGee and George Mason's Kevin Yerks earned CAA Men's Golfer of the Week honors after a pair of strong outings last week.
McGee carded 68-70-69--207 (-3) to place tied for 14th at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic. The event was held at the 7,133-yard, 70 par Talking Stick-North Course in Scottsdale, Ariz. The junior finished nine strokes behind champion Benn Juffer of Kansas State (198, -12) and tied with San Diego's Alex Chingy and Kansas' Dylan McClure. McGee led the Monarchs to a ninth place team finish.
