Monarchs Just Seven Strokes Back At Caribbean Intercollegiate

PONCE, PR-- Senior Neil Henderson shot 70-73 for a two-round score of 143 and is currently in sixth place at the Caribean Intercollegiate. As a team, the Monarchs are just seven strokes behind the leader, St. John's going into Wednesday's final round.

The Monarchs tallied 579 after the first two rounds trailing Rollins by six shotsand tournament leader St. John's by seven.

Two other Monarch individuals are also in the top ten with Henderson. Thomas Wilde (Bucks, England) and sophomore John Dawson (Chesapeake, VA.) are at 146 and tied for ninth. Dawson fired a 71 in the second round, the lowest ODU score of the day. Freshman Jamison Randall (Cumberland, RI.) is tied for 12th at 147.

St. John's Pat Wilson shot 68 in the second round for a two round total of 137 and a five stroke lead.
