NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University won 4-of-5 singles matches en route to a 5-2 win over Hampton Saturday afternoon at the Folkes-Stevens Indoor Tennis Center.
Diana Ivanova and Melissa Esnal Olguin breezed through at No. 1 doubles to an 8-1 triumph while Aleksanra Mitrovska and Nika Khmolovska were victorious at the No. 2 spot 8-4.
Ivanova moved to 9-1 on the year with a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles while Mitrovska moved to a perfect 10-0 with a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 2.
Esnal Olguin defeated Maria Ycaza 6-0, 6-2 at the No. 3 spot whileKhmolovska defeated Danielle Butler 6-1, 6-1 at No. 4
At No. 5, Tabia Daolio came back to defeat Faith Atiso 4-6, 6-4 (10-8) to finish out the match.
ODU is back in action tomorrow when they face CAA foe Towson at 11 a.m. in the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center.
