WILLIAMSBURG, VA.-- The ODU Monarchs tallied 872 score for 54 holes to tie UNCG forsecond at the C&F Bank Intercollegiate at Kingsmill Resort River Course. The University of Missouri won the event by two strokes. Last week, ODU won the Pinehurst Classic.
Missouri finished at 870 after shooting 294 for the second straight day. ODU shot288-293-291 for its 872 score.
Invidually, four Monarchs finished in the top 20 led by Neil Henderson who tiedfor fifth place. Henderson shot 76-7070=216 to finish just five strokes behind Tournament champion Kamito Hirai of Winthrop who tallied 211.
Freshman Jamison Randall, junior Tom Wilde and sophomore John Dawson finished at 221 to tie for 20th.
The Monarchs return to action April 9 and 10 in Scottsdale, AZ at the Cowboy Classic.
