WILLIAMSBURG, VA-- The ODU Monarchs shot 293 today and after two rounds are just five strokes behind the University of Missouri at the C & F Bank Intercollegiatewhich is being played at Kingsmill Resort River Course. Missouri leads the tournament with a 36 hole score of 576, followed by ODU at 581 and UNCG at 583.
Individually, ODU senior Neil Henderson is tied for 16th at 146 after shooting 76-70. He is six strokes behind co leaders Sebastian Backlund of Francis Marion (70-70=140), Emilio Cuartero (68-74=140) and Jace Long of Missouri (67-73=140). Henderson birdied four holes today,shooting 36 on the front and 34 on the back.
Sophomore John Dawson and junior Tom Wilde are tied for 22nd at 147, while junior Garth McGee and freshman Jamison Randall are tied for 28th at 148 after two holes.
