The Old Dominion Men's tennis team 6-8 takes on the University of Penn 7-3 in a non-conference match Saturday, March 17 at 10 a.m. at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center.
The Penn Quakers are ranked No. 75 in the nation. Freshman Jeremy Court from Penn holds their team's best overall record in singles at 13-5. Phil Law is 2-0 as a number one seed and 9-7 overall.
Old Dominion's Krzysztof Muzalewski looks to continue to build on his singles victory last week against Navy as the number one seed. Wesley Barrett leads the monarchs with nine victories on the season. Both teams come into the match with wins in their previous matches. Old Dominion defeated Navy 4-3 while Penn defeated Florida Gulf Coast 5-2
Leading Old Dominion in doubles is Carlos Lopez Villa and Alfredo Rodriguez who are 9-2. Lopez Villa and Rodriquez won its previous doubles match against Navy.Old Dominion will return to action on March 23 against Cornell at 2 p.m.
