HARRISONBURG, Va. - Trian Iliadis scored a career high 22 points and Chris Cooper had his ninth double-double of the season to lead Old Dominion past James Madison 67-61 in overtime on Monday which was carried on ESPN3.

The Monarchs are now 2-0 on the road in the CAA. This was also ODU's fourth overtime game this season. ODU lost to Vermont and Richmond, but beat SouthFlorida and now JMU.

Iliadis shot 53.8 percent from the field (7 of 13), 45.5 percent from 3-point range (5 of 11) and made all three of his foul shots. He also hauled down sevenrebounds, dished out three assists along with two steals.

Cooper scored 12 points and grabbed a career high tying 16 rebounds, including eight on the offensive end.

Old Dominion entered the second half trailing 30-22 but outscored James Madison (7-5, 1-1 Colonial Athletic Association) 31-23 during the period as Kent Bazemore's jumper with seven seconds left sent the game into overtime.

The Monarchs (7-7, 2-0) made eight free throws in overtime and held the Dukes to just two buckets over the final three minutes.

Humpty Hitchens led James Madison with 23 points but turned the ball over three times in overtime and shot 25 percent (1 of 4) during the period.Devon Moore added11 points and eight rebounds for the Dukes.

The Dukes led by as many as 12 in the second half, 43-31 with 11:06 left, but theMonarchs slowly crept back into the game, tying it at 50-50 on a Bazemore trey with2:41 left in regulation.

JMU led 53-51 with 32 seconds left in regulation, but Bazemore tied the game againwith seven seconds left on a driving basket.

In the overtime, Trian Iliadis scored a basket was fouled then hit the free throwto give the Monarchs a 58-57 lead with 3:31 left which they never relinquished.ODUled only one other time before this and that was 11-10 with 12:46 mark in the first half.After back-to-back steals by Iliadis and Donte Hill, ODU went up 62-57 after twofree throws by Iliadis.

The 22 points by Iliadis breaks his previous career high of 15 points which hedid three times, twice this season, against VMI and Missouri.

The 16 rebounds by Cooper equals his career high against Maryland-Eastern Shorein 2010.Red shirt freshman forward Richard Ross hauled down a career high tying eight rebounds as well for ODU.

Red-shirt junior forward Nick Wright joined Iliadis, Cooper, and Bazemore in double figures with ten points tonight.Kent Bazemore dished out a game high eight assists, grabbed seven rebounds and was a perfect 3-for-3 fromthree-point range.

The Monarchs finished the night shooting .361 (22-61) from the field and again dominated the boards with 50 rebounds to JMU's 31, including 22 offensive rebounds.The Dukes shot .379 (22-58).

ODU now leads the series with the Dukes, 54-24 and have now won five straight gamesagainst JMU in Harrisonburg.

The Monarchs return to action Thursday at home when they host George Mason at 7 p.m.in a ComCast televised contest.
