NORFOLK, Va. - Several members of the 2011-12 Lady Monarch Lacrosse team donated clothes after the Holidays to the Maury High School Fabric Club and the Hope House this week.

Tasked with cleaning out their closets when they went home for the holiday break, the ODU lacrosse squad brought back 20 bags worth of clothing and donated part of it to the Maury High School Fabric Club, where they recycle the fabric.

The rest of the clothes were donated to the Hope House Foundation on Monticello Avenue in downtown Norfolk. The Hope Foundation provides individualized supported living services for and with adults with developmental disabilities in their own homes or apartments throughout Hampton Roads.

Later this month, the Lady Monarchs will be gathering food to participate in the Foodbank campaign of Southeastern Virginia.
