RICHMOND, Va. - Old Dominion University freshman Myeisha Hall was named the CAA Women's basketball rookie of the Week, the CAA announced Monday.
Hall exploded for 15 points on 5-of-8 shooting and was 5-of-6 from the three-point line in the 73-70 win over Northeastern Sunday. She also contributed four assists, with one steal and rebound.
It is the second time this season she has won the award and the fifth time overall for ODU. Ashley Betz-White has earned the honor three times.
Lady Monarchs on STAR 1310
The Old Dominion and VCU contest set for Jan. 11 at 7 p.m. will be broadcast on STAR 1310. The Lady Monarchs' games on Sunday, January 15 and Sunday, Jan. 22 will also be on STAR 1310 due to the NFL playoffs.
