BOSTON, Mass. - Old Dominion University women's basketball hits the road for the first time in 2012 and heads to Boston to take on Northeastern Sunday, Jan. 8 at 2 p.m.

The Lady Monarchs (4-10, 1-1) are coming off a 68-59 victory Wednesday night over Georgia State while Northeastern (2-11, 0-2) lost to UNCW Thursday afternoon, 60-53.

Tia Lewis poured in a career-best 30 points and hauled in 10 rebounds for her sixth double-double of the season to lead ODU over GSU. JoNiquia Guilford added 12 points. Lewis leads ODU and is fourth in the CAA with 18.2 points per game and is sixth in the league in rebounds with 9.6.

Jewel Tunstull had a career-best 19 rebounds and 13 points in the Huskies' loss to UNCW and leads the squad with 12.8 points and 6.8 boards per game. Deanna Kerkhof is second on the team with 10.6 points per game.

The game will be broadcast on STAR 1310 due to the NFL playoffs, with play-by-play from Doug Ripley.

Old Dominion will stay on the road as they head to VCU on Wednesday, Jan. 11 at 7 p.m. The game will be on ESPN3.
