KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Old Dominion University women's basketball is back in action for the final time in the 2011 calendar year as they travel to Tennessee to take on the Lady Vols Wednesday at 7 p.m.

This is the final non-conference game of the year for the Lady Monarchs. The game will be televised on SportSouth and also on ESPN Full Court, channel 723.

About the Lady Monarchs
Old Dominion lost to Maryland Eastern Shore in front of a season-high 4,749 fans on Dec. 21.
Junior JoNiquia Guilford led the Lady Monarchs with a career-best 14 points.
Senior Tia Lewis recorded her fifth double-double of the year with 11 points and 12 rebounds. It was the 34th double-double of her career, fifth most among all active Division I players.
Lewis leads ODU with 18.1 points and 9.7 rebounds a game.
Ashley Betz-White is second on the team with 9.6 points per game.
ODU has had eight different players score double-figures in at least one game so far this season. Tia Lewis leads the way with eight, Ashley Betz-White has three, Shakeva Richards and JoNiquia Guilford have two, while Becca Allison, Mairi Buchan, Myeisha Hall, Jackie Cook have one.

About the Lady Vols
The No. 6 Lady Vols are 7-3 and coming off a 97-80 loss at No. 4 Stanford on Dec. 20
Senior Shekinna Stricklen leads the team with 17.3 points per gameand is second on the team with 7.4 rebounds per game.
Tennessee has three other players averaging in double-figures; Glory Johnson at 13.7, Taber Spani at 11.9 and Meighan Simmons at 10.4.
Johnson leads the team with 8.3 boards per game and is tied for the team lead with nine blocks.
Freshman Ariel Massengale has played in just seven of 10 games but leads the team with 36 assists.
