NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University women's basketball plays their final home game of 2011 on Wednesday when they take on Maryland Eastern Shore at 11:30 a.m.

About the Lady Monarchs

The meeting will be the first between the two schools.
Old Dominion won their second-straight with a 71-58 victory over North Carolina A&T on Sunday.
Tia Lewis contributed her fourth double-double with 24 points and 13 rebounds. It was her fourth double double of the year. Ashley Betz-White contributed 11 points while Jackie Cook had eight points, seven rebounds, four assists and three blocks.
Lewis was named CAA Co-Player of the Week for her performance against the Aggies. She shared the honor with Courtney Hurt of VCU.
Lewis is fourth in the CAA in scoring with 18.7 points per game and fifth in rebounding at 9.5 rebounds per game.
About the Hawks
Maryland Eastern Shore is 2-7 on year and off a 71-50 setback at South Florida Saturday.
The two Hawk wins are an 39-37 overtime win at American and a 60-32 thrashing of Delaware State.
Chelsea Sanders is the only Hawk averaging in double-figures at 12.1 points per game.
UMES is coached by Fred Batchelor. He is in his eighth season as head coach and is the winningest coach in school history with a 97-118 record.
