RICHMOND, Va. - Old Dominion University senior Tia Lewis was named the CAA Co-Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
Lewis delivered her fourth double-double of the season with 24 points and 13 rebounds in Old Dominion's 71-58 win over North Carolina A&T on Sunday. The 24-point effort was her third-straight game of 20 + points. The Poulan, Ga. native was 8-of-11 from the field and 8-of-12 from the free-throw line. She also had two assists, two steals and a block.
She leads the Lady Monarchs and is fourth in the CAA with 18.7 points per game and is fifth in rebounding at 9.5 boards per game.
Lewis and Old Dominion are back in action Wednesday morning when they host Maryland Eastern Shore at 11:30 a.m.
