WASHINGTON, D.C. - Old Dominion University women's basketball is back from the Virgin Islands and ready head to George Washington for a 7 p.m. contest at George Washington on Wednesday. The game will be on ComCast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic.

ODU earned their first win of the season at the Paradise Jam Tournament with a win over the eventual champion, Alabama. Becca Allison hit a jumper with 1.2 seconds left while Tia Lewis led the squad with a career-high 27 points.

Lewis averaged a double-double in the three tournament games with 20.7 points and 10.7 rebounds to earn all-tournament team accolades.

Ashley Betz-White is second on the team with 11.1 points a game while Shakeva Richards knocked in a career-high 18 points against Louisiana Tech on Friday. She averages 8.6 points a game.

George Washington is 2-3 on the year, snapping a three-game losing streak last Saturday with an 83-59 win over Radford. The only common opponent so far between ODU and GW has been Virginia Tech, which both teams lost to.

Sara Mostafa leads the Colonials with 13.6 points per game. Danni Jackson has 10.6 a game while Brooke Wilson averages 7.8 points and 8.2 rebounds a game.

ODU finishes off their November road swing on Sunday, December 4 when they open CAA play at George Mason.
