Bernardini, Johnson Earn All-Conference Honors

All-CAA Teams

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Lisa Bernardini and Victoria Johnson were selected to the All-CAA team, as Bernardini earned Second-Team honors while Johnson was named to the Third-Team, the CAA announced Wednesday. The voting was conducted by the CAA's coaches.

Bernardini moved up to midfield this season after playing her first three on defense, and led the Lady Monarchs with six goals, six assists and 18 points. She had a season-high five points with two goals and an assist in a 3-2 win over UNCW. It is the third time in her career receiving All-CAA honors, she earned Second-Team honors her sophomore season and was named to the All-Rookie team her first year.

Johnson finished second on the Lady Monarchs with four goals and two assists from her defensive position. The Senior had a season-best goal and assist in the win over UNCW and was solid in her first year on the back line. She finished her ODU career tied for fourth with 17 career assists, is seventh in points with 53 and ninth in goals with 18. It is the second time in her career earning All-CAA honors, as she earned All-Rookie team honors as a freshman.
